24 hours in Miami, Florida

Miami was probably the quickest trip we ever took. It left me wanting to come back again!

Saturday

We got to the Miami International Airport early in the morning. For breakfast, we stopped at a small cafe for a pastry and a Cuban version of an espresso shot, called a cafecito. It was delicious and definitely gave us the energy we needed for the day. We drove off to Everglades Safari Park (We got our Airboat tour from Groupon.com) Highly recommended! It even included time to be able to hold a baby crocodile for a small fee.  It was lots of fun.

We then headed to Miami beach for lunch at Havanna 1957 for some Cuban food. After lunch we walked down Ocean Avenue towards the famous Miami Beach and soaked up some sun. The water was crystal clear and little fish swam near my feet. It was the most amazing thing!  The life guard towers are all decorated differently with unique colors and styles, so take some time to explore!

We then did a quick stop for some ice cream in Little Havanah at Azucar Ice Cream and went to see the University of Miami -  the location where part of the Drake's music video to "God's Plan" was filmed.

We went back to rest and get ready for the night. We danced our night away at the Ball and Chain Night Club with live Salsa music. It was SO much fun. The next morning, we then headed back to the airport to go home. All in all, we did Miami in one day. There were so many other things I wanted to do. I guess we will just have to go back!
