Free things to do in Boston, Massachusetts

1. Boston Commons - It reminds me a lot of NY Central Park without the commotion. To be honest, when I looked up this park, it looked boring in photos-but I was wrong. This place is so cute! Everyone looked so comfortable enjoying their afternoon. There are swan boats that take you through the center water of the park for a fee. If you have time, stop by the famous Acorn street to admire the pretty pebble street.

2. See the Splash Fountain at the Christian Science Plaza. Perfect way to cool off on a hot day. I know my little one would have LOVED this.

3. Head over to the Lawn on the D. This is a family friendly area where there is food and drinks available for purchase, but the live music, and fun lawn games are free.

4. Visit the cute Little Free Library in front of the Walgreens in Downtown Boston and score a free book (or two).

Although not free, here are two great places to eat:

1. Playa Bowl - smoothie or acai bowls for a healthy yet yummy meal.

2. Luke's Lobster - although on the $pricy$ side, the meal is delicious and WORTH IT. There are many locations in Boston. Don't make the same mistake we did - call ahead to make sure they are open, their website is not always correct.

-Out of Office.
